UMogged collects account identifiers from Sign in with Apple, which may include your name and email address if Apple provides them during account creation. UMogged also collects onboarding answers, subscription status and purchase history, scan context, AI analysis reports, score history, routine progress, app diagnostics such as crash and performance data, and account deletion/support requests. UMogged processes face data when you choose or take a selfie for analysis.
Face data means the selfie image you choose or take in the app and visible appearance signals inferred from that image, such as facial presentation, skin appearance, grooming, hair, facial-hair visibility, photo quality, posture/expression cues, and style-related observations. UMogged does not create a faceprint, does not perform identity verification, does not identify you, and does not use face data for advertising or tracking.
UMogged uses face data only to generate your appearance analysis, UMogged score, potential preview, personalized routine, progress comparison, and related in-app recommendations. Before analysis, the app asks for your permission and explains that your selfie, onboarding answers, and scan context will be sent to the UMogged backend and OpenAI for AI processing.
The latest selfie image may be saved locally on your device so it can appear when you reopen UMogged. The selfie image is transmitted to the UMogged backend for the requested analysis and then sent to OpenAI to generate the report. UMogged does not store selfie image files in UMogged cloud storage. UMogged stores the generated report, scan scores, scan date, and photo context in Supabase so you can view scan history and progress. The backend runs on Railway. Payment details are handled by Apple and RevenueCat, not UMogged.
Selfie image files are retained locally on your device until you replace the image, delete the app, or delete your account data in the app. Selfie image files are processed transiently by the UMogged backend and are not retained in UMogged cloud storage after the analysis request completes. Generated analysis reports, scan scores, onboarding answers, subscription status, and progress data are retained until you delete your account data or contact support for deletion. Account deletion removes UMogged account data, scan history, onboarding answers, and routine progress from UMogged systems, but it does not cancel an active Apple subscription.
We use data to provide analysis, sync, subscription access, account deletion, and support.
UMogged uses Apple Sign In, Supabase, Railway, RevenueCat, and OpenAI. We share only the data needed for each service to provide the app: authentication with Apple/Supabase, backend hosting with Railway, subscription status with RevenueCat, and selfie/onboarding/scan context with OpenAI for AI analysis. These providers are required to protect user data under their applicable privacy and security terms.
Selfies, onboarding answers, photo context, and progress context may be sent to OpenAI through the UMogged backend to generate an appearance report. Do not upload images you do not have permission to use.
You can delete your account and app data from the app or by contacting support.
UMogged does not use advertising identifiers or track you across other companies' apps and websites.
